CCO Fee Summary
Practical Exam Fees
CCO fees are currently charged at the following rates.*
Each candidate is responsible for providing a completed application, cashier's check/money order/credit card payment and a passport size photo the day of the practical exam:
Mobile 1................$60
Mobile 1 & 2.........$70
Mobile 1,2 & 3......$80
Tower...................$60 standalone. $50 if taking other mobile specialties
For existing CCO card holders to add "tower" ,.....$50
Written Exam Fees for the following specialties (Small & large hydro, Lattice boom, tower crane)
CCO fees are currently charged at the following rates.*
Each candidate is responsible for direct and timely payment to CCO:
Core exam plus any one specialty........$165
Core exam plus four specialties............$195
Tower exam only................................$165
Tower included with 4 specialties.........Add $50
Recertification... $165 (core exam plus 4 specialties)+$50(tower)+$25(new card fee)=$240
CCO test administration of classes less than 15 candidates... $300.00

Day 3 - Tower crane

Requirements for CCO certification
- At least 18 years of age
- CCO Physical Examination Form or a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Comply with CCO Substance Abuse Policy
- Pass Written examination (Core & one specialty)
- Pass Practical Examination
- Candidates must pass the Practical exam within twelve months of passing the written examination
- All candidates must provide passport size photo at time of practical exam (attach to application)
